All plants and mining operations incorporate best practices in soil and reclamation. In addition utilize dry storage sheds for mined clay which reduces particulate discharge into local watersheds

All plants use high-efficiency, variable speed fan motors which use less electricity

Low-efficiency machinery motors are replaced with newer high-efficiency motors as required

Plants and distribution yards use propane fuel for forklifts which has lower emissions than gas or diesel-powered vehicles

Curing systems for concrete designed for maximum fuel efficiency

Local operations reduce shipping and fuel costs, thus reducing carbon footprint of the region by eliminating need for materials from outside the region. Logistics systems reduce overall miles traveled and energy use
