Mutual Materials Durham branch is open to our entire customer base including builders, contractors, architects, designers, landscape professionals and residential home owners. Our showrooms will be sanitized daily to ensure we keep our customers and employees as safe as possible. This retail branch has product displays of hardscape, masonry, and stone veneer, plus an outdoor display garden at the front of our building.

I would have given Zeek 6 stars, but only 5 were available. I've known Zeek for decades and he has always been a top hand and given me great service. He has a wealth of knowledge and contacts, knows the products and is friendly and easy to work with (99.9% of the time :) ). Zeek keeps the yard clean and VERY organized. I embarked on a new paver system for my backyard hot tub area. Kristen at the Durham branch was awesome helping me understand the requirements for may application. They helped me pick out a good color combo and let me look through their inventory in the yard. Yard guys were very helpful as well. If I need pavers again, I’ll come back here for sure!

I was seeking to renovate a VERY tired fireplace/insert with some sort of Faux Rock as a home owner project. Not knowing anything about what I was doing, I walked in, engaged a VERY helpful sales rep (Kristin Koslowsky) who walked me through the process, helped me pick a product, and in general was just SUPER HELPFUL. No waiting, product loaded into my truck and out in less time than it took me to pick a product from the sample wall...

I did manage to pick a product that managed to be a little different than the display in terms of variation in depth of stones, and the outside corners were definitely targeted towards exterior "on lathe screen" application, but worked just fine on my interior fireplace after a little "adjustment". This was a test attempt on a house I plan on selling - I'll probably be a little more selective about which product I select when I replicate the experience in my current house.. But now I know what I'm doing, so hurrah!!

I will DEFINITELY seek out mutual materials, mostly due to the very wonderful service I received..
